United KingdomFraisthorpe Wind Farm, located in Yorkshire, was constructed by BayWa r.e. in 2016 and has a total capacity of 29.7 MW. It produces enough electricity to power approximately 28,000 homes and provides a community benefit fund totaling over £1.5m to invest in locally approved initiatives.
The wind farm is now part of the Octopus Investments portfolio and BayWa r.e. continues to manage the site as technical asset manager. In this function BayWa r.e. coordinates all third-party activities on the site, ensures the accomplishment with HSE regulations, carries out analysis and reporting and is responsible for a 24/7 monitoring.
