BayWa r.e. signs 14-site asset management agreement with Greencoat Wind UK to manage 406 MW wind portfolio

BayWa r.e. has signed a long-term framework agreement with Greencoat UK Wind, the leading renewable infrastructure fund, managed by Schroders Greencoat, to provide technical asset management services for its 14 wind farms across England and Scotland, 9 of which have been retained and extended.

The 10-year framework agreement will see BayWa r.e. servicing a total of 406 MW of power across all 14 sites, comprising of 8 sites in Scotland and 6 in England. Combined, the wind farms will power around 143,700 homes.

BayWa r.e. provides comprehensive technical management services for a range of wind energy partners and supports in areas as diverse as monitoring operations at our 24/7 control centre to scheduling onsite services and compiling company reports.
