BayWa r.e. has been officially accredited by the NICEIC for its operation and maintenance of solar and wind farms in the UK.
BayWa r.e. Operation Services Limited currently manages a portfolio of around 965 MW of wind and PV projects in the UK of which around 500 MW are utility scale projects across the whole of the UK, from Scotland right down to Cornwall. This includes the biggest solar farm in Northern Ireland.

The National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC) regulates the training and work of electrical enterprises in the UK and has approval from the UK Government to approve people as competent to oversee electrical work. The NICEIC accreditation covers all BayWa r.e. operated sites in the UK and ensures the highest standards of safety and professionalism are maintained across the business.
